TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS: Equinenergy Ltd.
The Course Provider is Equinenergy Ltd, of 13 Wistaria Close, Brentwood, Essex, CM15 9PR, United Kingdom.
The Contracted Lecturer refers to the person recruited by the Course Provider, to teach any and all of the courses offered by the Course Provider.
The Customer is the student who completes the registration for one of the courses offered by the Course Provider.
The Registration refers to completion by the Customer of all required information for course registration, and all communications between the Course Provider and Customer with reference to the Customer’s registration on any and all of the courses from the Course Provider.
The Terms and Conditions for any and all courses offered by the Course Provider are agreed to by the Course Provider and the Customer upon course Registration.
GENERAL
All courses are taught in English, and students must be conversant in the English language. There is no facility for direct interpretation/translation during class hours.
PAYMENT
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of £300.00 must accompany all courses over £300.00.
Courses under £300.00 must be paid for in full at time of registration.
Course registrations close 6 (six) weeks prior to course commencement.Outstanding balance of course fees is due 5 (five) weeks prior to course commencement. Exact due dates are noted in the original letter of confirmation following Registration. If an outstanding balance is not received by the said date it will be assumed that the student is no longer attending and the place may be given to students on the waitlist. Upon receipt of the outstanding balance any applicable course manuals and glossaries will be sent out.
Deposits for Registration are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances other than where serious medical conditions prevent course attendance. This applies to students only: medical issues of family members are not accepted as reasons for refund of paid deposits.
In the event of being unable to attend a course, written notification is required at least one calendar month prior to course commencement in order to be eligible for any refund on course fees paid over and above the course deposit. No refunds or transfers of course date after this time unless for medical reasons, only of the student. Medical conditions of family members do not qualify for refund of course fees paid or for requests for transfers of course dates.
A fee of £50.00 will be charged for late registrations.
A fee of £25.00 will be charged for returned cheques.
Where the Customer has noted an email address on the Registration, this account must be checked regularly as this email address will be used as a primary means of communication regarding all course details.
Neither Equinology Inc., nor Equinenergy® Ltd. will be held responsible for any losses incurred through course postponement or cancellation. Travel insurance is advised where appropriate. As each course is subject to a minimum number of enrolments to run, students are advised to wait with booking of travel and accommodation arrangements until confirmation is received from the Equinenergy® course office, that the course of choice will definitely be held. This final confirmation will be communicated around four weeks prior to the course date.
Equinenergy Ltd. reserves the right to cancel courses due to circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to low enrolment numbers. At this time, all fees (including Registration deposit) collected for the purpose of Registration, will be fully refunded.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Course Provider and Course Lecturer will use their reasonable and best efforts to ensure that any and all of the courses offered by the Course Provider are provided to the highest standard to the Customer. The Customer agrees to indemnify the Course Provider and Course Lecturer, and hold the Course Provider and Course Lecturer harmless with respect to the delivery in good faith of any and all of the courses offered by the Course Provider, except with regard to gross negligence, willful misconduct or material breach by the Course Provider. Neither the Customer nor Course Provider will be liable for any consequential, indirect, exemplary, special or incidental damages arising from these Terms and Conditions, for any amount of fees higher than the total price paid by the Customer for the Registration on any and all of the courses offered by the Course Provider.
Any and all certifications in equine and canine body work certifications issued by Equinenergy Ltd. on behalf of Equinology, Inc. (EEBW: Equinology Equine Body Worker certification and CCBW: Caninology Canine Body Worker certification) are recognised and approved by the International Equine Body Worker Association (IEBWA) and by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NTCBTM).
FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE
In the event of political unrest, natural disasters, epidemics/pandemics, terrorism, strikes or curtailment of transportation, Equinenergy Ltd. is not responsible for refunding your registration in full.
We offer two different options: you may either transfer to a future course date of your choice (offered within 12 months of your original course date), or if you wish to fully cancel your participation due to a change of course date that is beyond the control of Equinenergy Ltd., you will receive a refund of course fees paid, less the course deposit of GBP300.00.
PPE (protective personal equipement) PROTOCOL FOR COVID-19
Equinenergy Ltd adopts current government-mandated protocols in relation to social distancing, disinfecting, and use of personal protective gear for the duration of each course. Students may opt to wear facial masks and practice social distancing during courses, but this will not be enforced over and above current government guidelines.
