Debranne Pattillo, MEEBW, BSc.(h.c.)
Debranne Pattillo owned and operated a sporthorse lay-up and boarding facility for eight years. It was during this time that she discovered the benefits of equine sports massage for the rehabilitation abilities and the preventative care of these equine athletes.
In 1993, the ranch was sold to enable her to work on an established monthly clientele of over fifty horses of various disciplines which include dressage, hunters, jumpers, endurance, cutting, pleasure, as well as the geriatric retiree.
Debranne is a state certified instructor in animal health and an equine sports massage therapist. She conducts sports massage clinics on the west coast to Australia. Debranne has been involved with horses since the late ‘70’s and enjoys dressage, jumping and trail riding.
She is the owner of Equinology Inc., a company that develops health related curricula for the professional and lay persons. She is also a founding member of Equine Well-Being Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to the communication between veterinarians and practitioners, and enhancing the health and care of all equines. Her other extended studies include stretching techniques, anatomy, biomechanics, conformation, breeding, saddle fitting, equine dentistry and nutrition.
Hundreds of hours have been spent assisting and accompanying doctors in their respective fields. She has managed several ranches and has owned and operated a feed and tack store. Debranne currently resides in Santa Rosa, CA.
